1. Cornstarch and Baking Soda

Cornstarch and baking soda for sweatingThis remedy works wonders. It not only eliminates the bad odor from your body but it also lightens the marks left by excessive sweating.

What you need to do..

Take one tablespoon of cornstarch and one tablespoon of baking soda. Mix them and add little bit of lavender oil in it. Add a few drops of water to make a paste. Now thoroughly clean your armpits and then apply the paste onto your armpits. Leave for at least half an hour and wash off with cold water. Do this remedy thrice a week and notice remarkable changes in sweating and bad odor.

 

2. Coconut Oil and Camphor 

Coconut oil and camphor for excessive sweatingAs coconut oil contains lauric acid, which helps to kill the bacteria which causes sweating, it is an excellent remedy if you are prone to excessive sweating.

What you need to do..

Take one cup of coconut oil and 10 grams of crushed camphor. Now stir well and make a form of paste. Apply the paste to the sweat prone areas of your body. Massage in circular motions for a around 5-10 minutes and leave it for another 30 minutes. Now wash off with water and pat dry. Do this remedy at least four times a week. You will notice visible changes in your sweating and body odor.

 

3. Alum

What you need to do..

Take some alum and crush it in the form of a powder. Mix it with some water to make a paste. Rub this paste in your armpits or sweat prone areas like feet etc. Let it sit for 15 minutes and wash off with cold water. Do this remedy thrice a week. The sweating and bad odor will go away eventually.

 

4. Witch Hazel

Witch hazel for excessive sweatingWitch hazel is obtained from a herb. The herb contains tannins, catechins, gallic acid, flavonoids, which makes it a great astringent and antiperspirant. You can use this herb to remove the bad odor from your body.

What you need to do..

Take some witch hazel. Now take a cotton pad and soak it in witch hazel. Squeeze it a little bit to wring out the excess. After that apply this pad on the sweat prone areas like armpits, face or feet. Leave it for 30 minutes and wash it off. Follow this process after every other day.

 

5. Salt and Lemon Juice

Take 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of salt in a small bowl. Mix them and make a paste. Apply the paste on sweat prone areas of the body especially under arms. Now massage gently with your hands for around 5 minutes. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse it off with water. Pat the skin dry. And repeat the process at least thrice a week. You will notice that the body odor and excessive sweating have been diminished to an extent.
